Fire Retardant Treated Wood
Viance supplies D-Blaze treatment solution to wood treaters nationally, who then produce and supply D-Blaze fire retardant treated wood (FRTW) to construction sites across the US. Fire retardant building materials slow the spread of flame and the generation of smoke in a fire, increasing the time for occupants to reach safety.
D-Blaze
D-Blaze® fire retardant treated wood (FRTW) is available for interior applications where fire retardant construction materials are specified or required by building codes. D-Blaze treated lumber and plywood is highly effective in controlling the spread of flame and smoke development caused by fire.
D-Blaze FRTW is AWPA standardized (P50, U1, UCFA) and UL classified with a FR-S rating, and complies with national model building codes (2009 IBC & IRC).
