Viance's Technical Services Group is committed to ensuring our customers are kept up to date with current environmental, health and safety, and technical issues that are pertinent to the wood treatment industry.
Viance hopes to make Treater Services the most informative source on pressure-treated wood. We will continue to provide our customers with current information on environmental, health and safety, and technical requirements as they relate to the wood treatment industry.

Viance’s continuing education program provides training and instructional courses for producers, sellers and specifiers of treated wood products. Viance staff members are available to offer on-site training courses related to:
- Application of preservatives, fire retardants and water repellents to forest products
- Treatment plant environmental issues
- Treatment plant operational training
- Treated wood product attributes, applications and specifications
