Fire Retardant Treated Wood (FRTW) is required by building codes in many major metropolitan areas. Properly manufactured, pressure-treated FRTW helps contain the spread of smoke and fire, increasing the time that people have to evacuate and move to safety.
D-Blaze FRTW by Viance has been tested and certified by many authorities, including the ICC, Underwriter's Laboratories and the City of Los Angeles. D-Blaze also has been installed in many notable commercial installations such as the Sears Tower and Navy Pier in Chicago.
